Spin-Crossover Materials: Magnetic Susceptibility Study of Sub-Pico-emu Sample Using a Micromagnetometer: An Investigation through Bistable Spin-Crossover Materials (Adv. Mater. 46/2017)

Thumbnail image of graphical abstract

Spin switching in a nanosized material without an external applied magnetic field can be evidenced using a highly sensitive sub-picoemu magnetometer working at room temperature. In article 1703073, CheolGi Kim, Azzedine Bousseksou, Ferial Terki, and co-workers present an advanced approach based on an induced AC magnetic field and discuss nanoscale magnetic signatures with a resolution of 4 × 10−14 emu at room temperature.
